Louise J. McLemore

Mrs. Louise McLemore, 99, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008. She was born June 1, 1909 in Douglas County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Ed James and the late Mrs. Blanche Forrester James. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. Mrs. McLemore was owner and operator of McLemore Day Nursery for over twenty years until her retirement. She was lovingly called “McMama”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl McLemore. She is survived by her 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Lamar Whitehead of Douglasville, Corinne and Grady Daniel of Appling and Linda and Bobby Harwell of Oldsmar, FL; sister, Lorene Greene of Fort Lauderdale, FL; 8 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, October 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with grandsons Rev. Barry Daniel and Rev. Victor Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Douglasville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
