Luciana Fequiere

Mrs. Luciana Duré Fequiere, age 73, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, formerly of New York, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. She was born March 8, 1938 in LaVallee, Haiti, the daughter of the late Mr. Ferand Duré and the late Mrs. Pierre Duré. She was devoted to God and was a member of the Catholic Faith. She was faithful to pray and read her Bible. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home in New York City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Granville Duré. She is survived by her husband, Nicolas Fequiere; her children, Nicholson Fequiere, Samantha Fequiere, Sheila Fequiere, and Muriel Fequiere all of Brooklyn, New York; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ferande and Jean Jacinthe of Lithia Springs, Georgia, Francoise Duré of Brooklyn, New York, Marie Amarante Duré of Canada and Josline and Marcel Larecé of Orlando, Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Sylvana Duré and Francois and Suzanne Duré all of Brooklyn, New York, Bernard and Denise Duré of Lithia Springs, Georgia, and Remy and Carol Duré of Norcross, Georgia; 1 grandchild, Naia Scott; many nieces and nephews also survive.
