Mrs. Lucille Duke Graves, age 90, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at WellStar Tranquility Hospice following an extended illness. She was born February 10, 1921 in Fulton County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. William Howard Duke and the late Mrs. Bessie Polly Anna Godfrey Duke. She worked as a seamstress for Arrow Shirt Company and Cluett, Peabody & Company. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church in Lithia Springs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Graves; sister, Kitty Thompson; and brothers, Curtis Duke and Clyde Duke. She is survived by her three sisters and brother-in-law, Betty and James Hanes of Douglasville, Virginia Lawler of Villa Rica, and Juanita Willoughby of Temple; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Friday, January 6, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services for Mrs. Lucille Duke Graves will be conducted Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Jerry Adair officiating.
