Mrs. Lula Mae Shepherd Williams Keith, age 71, of Villa Rica, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born October 21, 1941 in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Adolphus Erastus Shepherd and the late Mrs. Myrtle Mae Couch Shepherd. She was retired from the Carroll County School System as Food Service Manager. She was also a long time member of the Powell Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Seaborn Franklin Williams, Sr.; brother, Donald Shepherd; sisters, Linda Emory, Katherine Keith, Janice Hackney, Jean Henson, and Dorothy Clay; son-in-law, Dennis Stroud; sister-in-law, Charlotte Shepherd; brothers-in-law, Bill Henson and Jerry Smith; Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ancy Jackson Williams, Sr. and Ona Pearl Morrow Williams Tant and James and Verdie Mae Keith;. Brothers-in-law, David Hackney, C. B. Clay, Herbert Williams, Hugh Williams and Jimmy Keith; Sisters-in-law, Pauline Phillips, Mary Agan, Erma Williams and Eunice McElroy. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Andrew Keith, Sr. of Villa Rica, daughters and son-in-law, Judy Stroud Windom of Villa Rica, Lisa (Jeff) Pate of Carrollton; son and daughter-in-law, Seaborn Franklin “Franky” (Wanda) Williams, Jr. of Temple; nine grandchildren, Laura (Jeremy) Harris of Villa Rica, Cagney Walker and fiancé Sherie Ray of Carrollton, Cody Pate of Carrollton, Sara Pate of Carrollton, Amanda Enlund of Temple, Stephanie Williams of Temple, David Williams of Temple, Jerrick Gaskins of Villa Rica, Geneva Gaskins of Villa Rica and Starr Allen of Carrollton; four great grandchildren, Natalie and Jake Harris of Villa Rica and Sean and Brian Enlund of Temple; Step sons and step daughters, Andrew (Georgina) Keith, Juanita Gaskins, and Jason Allen, Jerry Gaskins, Kenneth (Sherry) Reece, and Sherry (Danny) Millians; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita (Randy) Smith of Temple, Duranne (Joey) Jarriel of Villa Rica, Betty Ruth (Jim) Lumpkin of Villa Rica; brothers and sisters-in-law, Junior (Joan) Shepherd of Villa Rica, Ronald (Mazie) Shepherd of Villa Rica, Johnny “Bud” Shepherd of Whitesburg, Danny Shepherd of Villa Rica, James (Martha) Shepherd of Villa Rica; Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda Miller and David Austin of Villa Rica, Joyce Huey of Temple, Shelby Clay of Villa Rica, Franklin (Betty) Williams of Villa Rica, A J Williams, Jr. of Villa Rica, Sara Williams of Villa Rica, Edna Williams of Waco and James McElroy of Douglasville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Monday, March 11, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 4:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Pate officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Cagney Walker, David Williams, Cody Pate, Jeremy Harris, Andrew Keith, Gary Shepherd, Jason Allen, Tommy Dollar, Jacob Dollar and Jerry Gaskins. Interment will follow in Powell Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
