Lura Webb

Mrs. Lura Sprayberry Webb, age 61, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013. She was born November 10, 1951 in Macon, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Woodfin Alvin Sprayberry, Sr. and the late Mrs. Etta Ward Wainwright Sprayberry. She retired from the Fraud Investigation Department for SunTrust Bank. She was a devoted member of New Georgia Baptist Church. She was an avid reader who enjoyed studying the Holy Bible. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Anthony Webb II and Jill Webb of Acworth; daughter and son-in-law, Anna Marie and Eric Martin of Kennesaw; two sisters, Connie Ruth Proctor and Betty Pierce both of Hephzibah; brother and sister-in-law, Woodfin Alvin Jr. and Joan Sprayberry of Dublin; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Friday, February 15, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM at New Georgia Baptist Church, 6092 Mulberry Rock Rd Villa Rica, GA 30180 with Dr. James Burdette and Dr. Keith Stell officiating. Interment and Graveside Service will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3:00 PM at Macon Memorial Park, 3969 Mercer University Dr Macon, GA 31204.
