Luther Mack Tucker

Mr. Luther Mack Tucker, age 79, of Lithia Springs, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023. He was born November 12, 1944 in Lithia Springs to the late Mr. Wiley Tucker and the late Mrs. Ruby Tucker. Luther was a man of many interests and hobbies. He found true joy in his work and approached every task with enthusiasm and determination.  When Luther wasn't busy with work, he enjoyed immersing himself in nature's beauty. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. Above all else, Luther cherished time spent with his family. Luther Mack Tucker will forever be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, James 'Buck" Tucker, Wiley Eugene Tucker; sisters, Virginia Bailey, Grace Tripp, Dorothy Singer, Joyce Logan and Doris Chastain.

He is survived by his sons, Matt (Brenda) Tucker of Wedowee, AL, Jeff Tucker of Lithia Springs; sister, Martha Kidd of Winston; grandchildren, Matthew (Tiffany) Tucker of Woodland, AL, Josh (Bridgette) Tucker of Wedowee, AL, Brandi (Steven) Stapler of Wedowee, AL and Scottie Tucker of Lithia Springs; great grandchildren,  Mason, Allison, Colby and Austin; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Danny Horsley officiating the service. Interment will take place at County Line Baptist Church in Lithia Springs.
