Lynda Joyce Russell

Lynda Joyce Russell, 75, of Villa Rica, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 6, 1950, the daughter of the late Williford Clarence Jones and the late Juanita Dalton Jones.

Joyce loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them. She was a woman of faith and an active member of Comforters Church in Temple. She was known for her generous heart and kindness. In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed arts and crafts. She also enjoyed shopping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney N. Russell and her son, Jeffrey A. Russell.

She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Teal of Lithia Springs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Frankie Jones of Talking Rock, Georgia and Bo and Nancy Jones of Temple; two grandchildren, Dakota Naspinski and Kendra Naspinski; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with a memorial service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Barry Keaton and Rev. Jerry Tipton officiating.
