Lynita Stuart-Doig, 65, of Villa Rica, GA passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022. She was born on April 2, 1957 in San Diego, CA to parents Priscilla Nance and Harvey Stalnaker.
Lynita truly lived her life to the fullest - she was the life of every party, the “hostess with the mostest,” the best Grammy, creative, loving and so much more. Her bright and bubbly personality touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure to know and love her.
From serving as an NFL cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers in the ’70’s, to running a successful daycare, working as a preschool teacher, nanny and sharing beautiful, hand painted crafts at craft shows around the midwest, she never stopped learning and trying new things throughout her life. After the death of her husband Steve in 2015, Lynita found a new passion by joining the local Teamsters union and working as a cast driver for the entertainment industry in Georgia.
She was loved deeply and her larger than life presence, beautiful spirit, and unique ability to make anyone she spoke to feel special will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Lynita is preceded in death by her beloved husband Steve, one brother and one sister. She is survived by her three children: Lindsay Stuart-Doig (Mike Weber), Steven Stuart-Doig (Bree Sasson), and Lauren Stuart-Doig; two grandchildren William and Sarah Weber; one brother, a special cousin Diane Winters, several uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless loving friends.
In accordance with her wishes, Lynita was cremated.
A memorial celebration of Lynita’s life will take place in the new year, details will be shared at a later date.
