Lynn Marie Dugan

Lynn Marie Dugan, 82, of Villa Rica, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. She was surrounded in love by her family. Lynn was born on January 26, 1943, the daughter of the late Timothy Kevin McGowan and Eleanor Antoinette Bain.

Lynn was a cherished soul whose presence touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and the very heart of her family. Lynn exemplified devotion and compassion that drew her family closer.

Lynn was a source of strength and endless support and she took immense joy in caring for those around her, pouring love into every moment spent together. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She cherished precious moments with each of them. Lynn found simple pleasures in everyday life, relishing her favorite diet cokes while indulging in Hallmark movies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Javier Junior Villa, Jr.; brother, Donald McGowan; and sister-in-law, Lois Dugan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Joseph Dugan; children, Tim Dugan (Anne Marie) of Villa Rica, Patrick Dugan of Buchanan, Colleen Dugan, of Buchanan, Kerri Lynn Dugan of Villa Rica, Erin Villa (Javier) of Long Island, NY, and Kathleen Conn (Raymond) of Long Island, NY; sisters, Susan Pollich (Ewald) of Long Island, NY; sister-in-law, Arlene McGowan of PA; brother, Robert McGowan (Rosemary) of Long Island, NY; grandchildren, Timothy Dugan (Megan) of Tallapoosa, Kristen Tyler (Kyle) of Douglasville, Kevin Dugan of Villa Rica, Christopher Reece (Bailey) of Canton, Owen Reece of Decatur, Adalyna Villa, Vivianna Villa and Dugan Villa all of Long Island, NY; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Amelia, Connor, and Kaiden; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. There will be a celebration of Lynn’s life on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 2:00 PM at The Olive Tree in Villa Rica.

Lynn's love knew no bounds—she touched many hearts, inspired those around her, and nurtured those she held dear. Her legacy resides in her children and grandchildren.

Lynn Marie Dugan will forever be in our hearts and memories. Her love remains a guiding light, by all whom she cherished. She will always be remembered as the one who made the world a sweeter place.
