Lynn Swafford

Mrs. Iris Lynn Thompson Swafford, age 57, of Temple, passed away April 27, 2014. She was born August 27, 1956 in Douglasville, the daughter of the late Mr. Joy B. Thompson and Mrs. Dorothy Ilee Pascal Thompson. She worked for Golden City Hospital. Mrs. Swafford was a member of Faith Full Gospel Church. She is survived by her husband, Eugene “Gene” Oscar Swafford of Temple; daughter and son-in-law, Dolores Lynn and Gregory Adams of Temple; mother, Dorothy Ilee Pascal Thompson of Douglasville; sister, Brenda K. Thompson Harris of Douglasville; brother, Telly Savalas Thompson of Douglasville; six nieces and nephews; two great nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 5:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM from Faith Full Gospel Church with Pastor Marcus McIntosh officiating.
