Mac C McGinnis

Marvin “Mac” Casey McGinnis, 69, of Villa Rica, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was born on April 3, 1954, the son of the late Marvin Casey McGinnis and the late Inez Bailey McGinnis.

Mac's heart belonged to his family. His sisters held a special place in his heart, as did his dear grand-babies, and nieces and nephews who brought him immeasurable joy. Mac will forever be remembered for his love for hunting and fishing. Mac liked to dance and watch NASCAR racing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Broxton; his children, Christopher Bell, Laura Smith and Angie Smith.

He is survived by his son, Dwayne (Judy) Smith of Villa Rica; daughters, Pamela Clay of Carrollton and Candace (Chris) Smith of Villa Rica; sisters, Judy (Danny) Hatch of Buchanan, and Ravonda (Bennie) Norton of Tallapoosa; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; great niece McKenna Norton and nephew, Ben Casey Norton; special friends, Janie and Russell Radford.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Villa Rica Chapel with Assistant Pastor Carol Couch officiating. Interment will follow Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Buchanan, GA.

The following will serve as pallbearers, William Finnell, Kyle Webb, Charles Webb, Jr., Chris Shoemaker, Keith Parrish, and Ben Casey Norton. The following will serve as honorary pallbearers, Charles Webb Sr., Mark Webb, Bennie Norton, Dwayne Smith and Danny Hatch.
