Madene Temple

Mrs. Madene Temple, age 69, of Rockmart Road, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 23, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia. Mrs. Temple was born June 4, 1939 in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Monroe Thomas Wheeler and the late Mrs. Louise Vancaren Wheeler. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Temple was preceded in death by her sons, David Edward Temple and Thomas Lee Temple and her brothers, Robert Thomas Wheeler, Melvin Wheeler and Earl Wheeler. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Mr. Robert Temple of Villa Rica; her daughter, Karen Collins of Villa Rica; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Shirley Temple of Villa Rica; her sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Jo Thornton of Villa Rica and Emma and Jerry Smith of Villa Rica; brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby Wheeler of Villa Rica and James and Mary Wheeler of Dalton; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Wendell Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
