Marcia Lee O'Callaghan

Marcia Lee O'Callaghan, age 78, passed away on June 23, 2024. She was born on April 11, 1946, in Wellsburg, West Virginia, to the late Mr. Andrew Noland and the late Mrs. Ruth Rosser Noland.

She was known for her kind and family-oriented personality, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Marcia was a beloved medical assistant (CMA) and led a fulfilling life enriched with various passions and hobbies. She enjoyed painting at the senior center, where she showcased her artistic talents and even sold her artwork. Additionally, Marcia dedicated her time to nurturing the young ones at her church's nursery, embodying her caring nature.

Throughout her life, Marcia found joy in simple pleasures such as doing puzzles, attending church services, and indulging in horror and suspense books. Her love for creativity and literature added depth to her character and influenced those around her. Marcia's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her children and grandchildren. She cherished the moments spent with them, creating precious memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

In addition to her parents, Marcia is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Robert O'Callaghan.

Marcia is survived by her son, Trebor (Heather) O'Callaghan; daughter, Marann O'Callaghan; grandchildren, Nicolas, Donevin, Michael, Mason, Cheyenne, Corey, Shiloh, Dakota, Sean, and Lexy; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Aubrey, Lily, Emily, Cosmo, Frankie and Charlie.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Chapel in Douglasville. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM with Chaplain. Sam Braswell officiating.
