Marcus Dorrell Austin, 46, passed away on December 31, 2023. He was born on November 18, 1977, in Laurel, Mississippi, to Mr. Willie David Austin and Mrs. Regina Robinson Austin.

He was the beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Marcus will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, his larger-than-life personality, and his deep love for his family. Marcus had a passion for entrepreneurship and had built a successful truck driving business. His determination and hard work were admired by many.

One could not help but notice Marcus's dramatic yet endearing personality. He had a vibrant spirit that filled any room he entered. Marcus was known for his eccentric style and uniqueness. Despite his lively nature, nothing brought more joy to Marcus than being with his family.

In addition to his successful career and deep love for his family, Marcus had a passion for playing poker. He even participated in leagues, where he showcased his strategic skills at the poker table. His intelligence and competitive spirit left a lasting impression on those who played alongside him.

In addition to his parents, Marcus is survived by his daughters, Alexis Austin and Mackenzie Austin; grandchildren, Elijah Austin and Sanarah Collier; brothers, Paris Darnell Austin and Swan Austin; nephew, Latrell Austin; niece, Nile Austin.

According to Mr. Marcus’ wishes, he was cremated.
