Margaret Dickson Anthony

Mrs. Margaret Drucilla Dickson Anthony, 89, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Douglasville. Mrs. Anthony was born January 8, 1919 in Franklin County, Georgia; the daughter of the late David Arzo Dickson and the late Cora Mangrum Dickson. Mrs. Anthony was a member of West Metro Church of God and was a retired seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Alfred Anthony; five sisters, Blanche Cook, Janie Bradley, Mary Anthony, Doris Stewart and Sara Camp; and two brothers, Thomas W. Dickson, and J.W. Dickson. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Meryal and Curtis Pinder of Villa Rica; and brothers, David A. Dickson, Jr. of Belvedere, SC, and Bobby E. Dickson of Villa Rica. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 2:30 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Glenn Roundtree officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Decatur. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Monday, July 14, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
