Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth “Peggy” French Schnaudt, age 91, of Fairfield Plantation, Villa Rica, passed away Friday, February 06, 2015. She was born April 4, 1923 in Catskill, NY the daughter of the late Mr. Raymond D. French and the late Mrs. Mable Meller French. She was a bookkeeper for many years. She attended Albany Business School. She was active in the Fairfield Planters Club, Fairfield Women’s Club and Fairfield Fire Department Auxiliary.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Schnaudt; daughter, Wilhelmina “Willy” Barry.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Kenny Marshall of Villa Rica; son-in-law, Glenn Barry of Villa Rica; five grandchildren, Craig Barry of Kennesaw, Kyle Barry of Atlanta, Brian and Kim Hungerford of Villa Rica, Chrysan and Glenn McCoin of Denver, CO, Jenifer and Matt Trainor of Destin, FL; six great-grandchildren, Karli Hungerford of Villa Rica, Shae Hungerford of Villa Rica, Luke McCoin of Denver, CO, Reese McCoin of Denver, CO, Gavin Trainor of Destin, FL and Hudson Trainor of Destin, FL.The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Monday, February 9, 2015 at 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM from the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Carrollton with Father Rafael Carballo officiating. Interment will follow at Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
