Mrs. Margaret Helen Armstrong Grimes, 56, of Highway 78, Bremen, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 25, 2005 at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born January 1, 1949, in Troup County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Walter Armstrong and the late Sudie Carroll Armstrong. Mrs. Grimes was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Temple, Georgia. She owned Superior Cleaners. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Armstrong, W. T. Armstrong, Odell Armstrong and Robert Armstrong. Survivors include her husband, Allen Grimes of Bremen; her daughters and sons-in-law, Connie Holloman of Temple, Donna and David Harrison of Temple, and Penny and Daniel Long of Carrollton; son, Chris Grimes of Bremen; sisters, Ann Muller of Bremen, Charlotte Nixon of Temple and Joyce Lytel of Indiana; brothers, Hershal Armstrong of Lowel, Cecil Armstrong of Temple, Mack Armstrong of Temple, James Armstrong of Centre, Alabama; grandchildren, Justin Holloman, Jessie Holloman, Brandon Harrison, Ashley Harrison, Megan Grimes and Avery Grimes; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Dr. Corky Addison officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemane at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia.
