Margaret Long

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Hendrickson Long, age 75, of Villa Rica, passed away, Sunday, December 30, 2018. She was born April 2, 1943 in Harriman, TN, the daughter of the late Mr. Leonard Cross Hendrickson and the late Mrs. Fannie Mae Teague Hendrickson. Mrs. Long retired from Sewell Plastics. She loved keeping her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She enjoyed working with her flowers and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Long; daughter, Deborah Long East; four brothers; five sisters. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Tim Millwood of Dallas, Dianne and Ronald Morgan of New Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Joe Bailey of Austell; nine grandchildren, Amanda Long, Chad Smallwood, Alishia Kennedy, Brandon Morgan, Matthew Morgan, Mandy McMichen, Jennifer Copeland, Clay Millwood; eight great-grandchildren, Ashton, Anniston, Anthony, Lincoln, Lennon, Aspen, Lilly, Palin, and Everett; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mrs. Long will lie in state Friday, January 4, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at West Ridge Church in Dallas. A Celebration of Life will be conducted Friday, January 4, 2019 at 1:00 PM at West Ridge Church in Dallas with Pastor Steve Veale officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
