Margaret Wright

Mrs. Margaret “Peggy” A. Newcomb Wright, age 75, of Villa Rica, passed away, Thursday, September 8, 2016. She was born September 30, 1940 in Bridgeport, NY the daughter of the late Mr. John Newcomb and the late Mrs. Margaret Farlong Newcomb. Mrs. Wright was the Director of Material Management for Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Carrollton and Bremen for 42 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Wright was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus “Don” Monroe Wright. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pennie and Dexter Cox of Temple; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Becky Wright of Villa Rica; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Francis Newcomb of Temple; eight grandchildren, Josh Hembree, Zeke and Kyler Hembree, Farrin Pointer, Kim and Jason Britt, Beth and Scottie Head, Wesley and Allison Wright, Gary and Mary Wright, and Aaron Wright; three great-grandchildren, Blake Britt, Gracie Head and Keaton Britt; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friend at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, September 9, 2016 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Graveside Services will be conducted Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Cemetery. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Cemetery.
