Margie Carroll Bell

Margie Carroll Bell, 68, a beloved member of the Villa Rica community and owner of A Perfect Petal Flower Shop in Villa Rica, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. She was born on April 23, 1956, the daughter of the late William “Bud” Carroll and Dollie Mae Summerville Carroll.

Margie was known not only for her dedication to her flower shop, but also for her warm spirit and generosity. Throughout her career, Margie brought joy and beauty to countless lives through her floral arrangements. Her passion for flowers was matched only by her love for her family, especially her granddaughters, with whom she cherished every moment. She was not just a hardworking woman; she was kind and compassionate. Margie was always ready to help those in need. Friends and family alike could attest to her willingness to give selflessly, often remarking that she would give the shirt off her back to help another. Margie's giving nature and her strong work ethic left an indelible mark on her community, as she was a blessing to many who crossed her path.

Margie's favorite color was pink, which mirrored her joyful approach to life. In her downtime, she found delight in simple pleasures, including enjoying her favorite treats of ice cream, cup of coffee, and flip-flops. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Lee Bell; son-in-law, Tommy Phillips; sister-in-law, Linda Carroll.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Dawn Phillips of Villa Rica; sisters and brothers-in-law, Opal (Monroe) Spake and Dianne (Lewis) Jacobs both of Villa Rica; brothers, Ed Carroll of Villa Rica, Larry Carroll of Athens, and Danny Carroll of Villa Rica; two grand-daughters, Zanna Bell of Marietta and Madison Phillips of Villa Rica; great-grandson, Brody; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. 

Before the funeral service, the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM from the Villa Rica Chapel at Jones-Wynn with Bro. David Bivins and Minister Jeff Pate officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Rodney Jacobs, Josh Jacobs, Ever Covera, Keith Gallman, Jeff Pate, and David Bivins.
