Margie Ruth Carter

Margie Ruth (Adams) Carter, 73, of Dallas, passed away on December 2, 2022. She was born on August 3, 1949. She is the daughter of the late James “Bud” Leroy Adams and the late Virgie Ruth (Williams) Adams.

Margie loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She liked to do cross-stitching, puzzles, coloring and working on genealogy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Grady Haskel Carter. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Williams of Carrollton, Georgia, Gail (Allen) Moody of Dallas, Georgia, Torrie (Eddie) Southern of Dallas, Georgia, Samantha (Paul) Clegg of Fairview, Tennessee; sons, David (Anna) Carter of Temple, Georgia, and Jason (Michelle) Carter of Dallas, Georgia; sisters Madge McInvale of Villa Rica, Georgia and Kathy Reger of Douglasville, Georgia; brother and sister in law, Kent and Sandy Adams of Buchanan, Georgia; twenty three grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel with Pastor Marty Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park.
