Margie Chambers

Mrs. Margie Delaney McSpadden Chambers, 72, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015. She was born December 9, 1942, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Mr. John McSpadden and the late Mrs. Sadie Phillips McSpadden. She was a homemaker and an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Norma Dickard and brother, Charles Walker. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald Lee “D.L.” Chambers of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Frank Ragan of Douglasville; sons, Jeff Chambers of Douglasville and Alan Chambers of Miami, FL; three grandchildren, Alicia Ragan, Autumn Ragan, and Katie Scogin and her husband, Travis; one great-grandchild, Rylee; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A private graveside service is planned by the family.
