Maria Concepcion Villanueva

Maria Concepcion Villanueva, age 56, affectionately known as Connie, passed away on October 20, 2024. She was born on June 1, 1968, in Zacatecas, Mexico, to the late Mr. Luis Villanueva and Mrs. Paula Calzada Villanueva.

Connie was not just a self-employed businesswoman running her beloved housekeeping business, Connie's Cleaning Services; she was the heart of her family. Her bright personality and infectious sense of humor made every interaction a joy. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her will remember her as an optimistic and loving soul, always ready with a smile and a kind word.

Her cooking was nothing short of flavorful. Connie loved sharing meals with family and friends, often accompanied by her favorite caramel-flavored coffee that she enjoyed at all hours of the day. Dancing brought her happiness, and at family gatherings her spirit shone brightest when the music played.

In addition to her culinary talents and dancing feet, Connie had a creative flair that expressed itself through knitting and singing. She was a regular at garage sales, finding treasures that she could bring back to life.

Connie's pride in her accomplishments was evident, particularly in her business and her deep love for her children and grandchildren. She instilled values of hard work and dedication in them and celebrated every milestone they achieved with unwavering support.

In addition to her mother, Connie is survived by her children, Angelica (Chris) Reynolds, Luis (Sheila) Villanueva, Link Villanueva and Christian Villanueva; grandchildren, Joel Villanueva, Stella Villanueva and Michael Villanueva; siblings, Marta Serrano, Gaby Calzada, Helena Hernandez, Jose Luis Villanueva, Ruben Calzada, Gerardo Villanueva, Juan Villanueva and Carlos Alberto Villanueva; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Georgia. The memorial service will follow beginning at 2:00 PM.
