Marian Ruby Hutchinson Williams

Mrs. Marian Williams, age 92 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021. She was born October 11, 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia; the daughter of the late Mr. Jack Edmund Hutchinson and the late Mrs. Sadie Craig Hutchinson. Mrs. Williams loved to pick blackberries and make blackberry cobblers. She was the finest cook on the planet. She enjoyed collecting trinkets, "what nots," sitting and reading the newspaper for hours. Mrs. Williams was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Robert Williams; and several sisters. Mrs. Williams is survived by daughter, Janice Owens of Boston, Massachusetts, Kay Johnston of Georgia; son, Norman Edmund "Ed" Williams of Douglasville, Georgia; sister, Barbara of Shreveport, Louisiana; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville.
