Marian Yvonne Williams

Marian Yvonne Williams, 78, of Temple, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026. She was born on October 18, 1947, the daughter of the late James Oliver McClain and the late Eunice Runnell Bowen McClain.

Yvonne dedicated her life to her family and her church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her devotion to her family was evident in everything she did, offering support, encouragement, and love to her children and grandchildren.

She found joy and purpose in her faith. As a Sunday School teacher, she taught countless children and she rejoiced when someone got saved. Witnessing and speaking of the love of Christ was of paramount importance to her. Yvonne enjoyed reading her Bible and home decorating magazines.

She is survived by her husband of almost sixty years, Terry O’Neal Williams; daughter, Valarie Forrester of Rockmart; son and daughter-in-law, Vince and Anna Williams of Temple; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Denise McClain of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Megan Moss, Dustin League, Allison Short, Rebekah Williams, Jacob Williams, Tiffany Robinson, Andrew Forrester, Cassie Zawacki, and Michael Mosley; great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Weslyn, Lily, Elijah, Kennedy, Chesney, Bennett, Karaline and Carly; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel with funeral services conducted at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Music provided by The Servers. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
