Marie King

Mrs. Marie Gamble King, age 65, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Monday, April 1, 2013. She was born July 15, 1947 in Brookhaven, Georgia. She was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a hair stylist for Pagentry Salon. She enjoyed cooking and she was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee King. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Clark of Dallas, Selina Nix and Jerry Moody of Dallas, and Sonya and Tim Overton of Lithia Springs; sons, Lamar King of Carrollton and Scott King of Dallas; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, April 5, 2013 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Brother Johnny Ivey officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
