Marie Stubblefield

Mrs. Marie Colleen Hilton Stubblefield, 89, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015. She was born July 19, 1925 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. James Newton Hilton and the late Mrs. Gemma Foster Hilton. She was a homemaker and a loving, devoted mother. She worked as a real estate agent for Brannon & Schmidt Realtors. She was an Avon Representative for over 40 years. She served as the pianist and organist at her church for over 40 years. She was a member of Lithia Springs Assembly of God. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ted William Stubblefield and his wife, Dana of Lithonia, John W. Stubblefield, III and his wife Jo of Douglasville; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Grady Bishop of Silver Creek; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor James Cowan officiating.
