Marilyn Carbona Hubschmitt

Marilyn Marie Hubschmitt, 79, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. She was born on July 5, 1943. She is the daughter of the late Joseph Carbona Sr. and the late Marie D’amico.

Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog Madison. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a lover of music and enjoyed watching her Hallmark Channel.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty seven years, James Hubsmitt Sr. and her brother Joseph Carbona Jr.

Mrs. Hubschmitt is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Crankshaw and her husband, Anthony of Dallas, Georgia; sons, James Hubschmitt of Manhattan, New York and Joseph Hubschmitt of Douglasville, Georgia; sister, Catherine Crawford and husband Harold of Florida; grandchildren, Marilyn Barday and husband Matthew of Dallas, Georgia, Linzy Vaughn and husband Johnathan of Villa Rica, Georgia;, AJ Crankshaw of  Dallas, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Ella Vaughn of Villa Rica, Georgia, and Holden Barday of Dallas , Georgia; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
