Marion Johnson Conner

Mrs. Marion Johnson Conner, age 89, of Lithia Springs, GA died Tuesday February 1, 2011. Mrs. Conner was born May 2, 1921 in Salem, VA to the late Sadie Haley Dameron and Harvey Snowden Dameron. She was preceded in death by her husband William Stanley Conner. She worked for the Navy Department and other government agencies in Washington, DC. She was later a homemaker and enjoyed working on crafts. She resided in Lutherville, MD for 45 years and in Lithia Springs for the past 5 years. She is survived by her son Herbert Eugene Johnson and daughter-in-law Barbara Sue Johnson of Lithia Springs; grandson Mark Eric Johnson and his wife Regina Agan Johnson of Winston; granddaughter Christine Lynn Johnson of Lithia Springs; and great granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Johnson of Winston. She is also survived by her sisters Virginia Sabat of Baltimore, MD and Audrey Martin of Staunton, VA; and many nieces and nephews. Family members will hold private memorial services.
