Mr. Mark Bryan Pitts, 41, of Shell Road, Winston, Georgia passed away Monday, July 10, 2006. He was born August 3, 1964 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of Mr. Fred Eugene Pitts and Mrs. Shelby Jean Pitts. He was a member of Union Grove Christian Church. He married Stephanie Anne Hall on June 7, 1986. He served in the United States National Guard having served during Desert Storm. He served as Scout Leader of the Boy Scouts Troop #39. He worked as an Installer for DAVACO, Inc. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Stephanie Anne Hall Pitts of Winston; one daughter, Ashlee Kristine Pitts of Winston; one son, Jacob Owen Pitts of Winston; his parents, Fred Eugene and Shelby Jean Pitts of Douglasville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah Ann and Kenneth Bowling of Winston and Terry Renee and Timothy Taylor of Winston; niece, Lindsy Taylor of Winston and nephews, Allen Taylor and Kensey Bowling both of Winston; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be Sunday, July 16, 2006 at 5:00 PM from Union Grove Christian Church in Winston with Minister Mike Mallory officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Saturday, July 15, 2006 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Mr. Pitts will be cremated following the visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family has set up a fund for his children’s education, contributions may be made to The Pitts Trust Fund, c/o: Douglas County Bank, 7421 Douglas Blvd., Suite P, Douglasville, Georgia 30135.
