Mark Landrum Winn, a devoted family man and hardworking individual known for his versatility and strength, passed away on May 12, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of 64. He was born on October 5, 1961, in Austell, Georgia, to the late Mr. Gerald Winn and the late Mrs. Diane Mitchell.
Mark lived life with determination, resilience, and commitment to providing for those he loved.
Throughout his lifetime, Mark held many jobs and earned the reputation of being a "jack of all trades." Most recently, he worked in the transport industry, specializing in transporting trucks. Those who knew Mark well recognized him as a man who cherished his family deeply. He was a great provider and took immense pride in his role as a grandfather.
Mark’s personal interests reflected his adventurous spirit and connection to nature. He loved fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors. He was especially proud of his achievements in fishing tournaments, accomplishments that he fondly remembered and shared with pride. In addition to these pursuits, Mark found joy in listening to rock-n-roll music.
Mark is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Darrin Jackson; brothers, David Winn, and Brandon Winn; sisters, Stacy Winn, and Keely Warthen; four grandchildren, Cornbread, Dacey, Dena Mae, and Dade.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Following the visitation, Mr. Mark Winn will be laid to rest at Sunrise Gardens of Memories in Douglasville, Georgia.
