Martha Ann Tyson Phillips

Mrs. Martha Ann Tyson Phillips, age 69, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. She was born September 24, 1939 in Douglas County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Clifford Ernest Tyson and the late Mrs. Ola Mary Timmons Tyson. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and worked as a secretary. She was devoted to her family and was a loving mother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Tyson, Joe Tyson, Leonard Tyson and Harold Tyson. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel Phillips and David and Mika Phillips all of Villa Rica; sister, Estelle Campbell of Douglasville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Fussell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
