Martha Coleman

Mrs. Martha Coleman, age 78, of Union City, Georgia, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011. She was born May 3, 1932 the daughter of the late Mr. Olin Ira Coleman and the late Mrs. Mattie L. Williams Coleman. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Coleman. She is survived by her daughters Denise Whitmore of Douglasville, Pennie Leigh Johnson of Smith Station, AL.; sons Barry Steven Harris, Sr. of Hiram, and Douglas Carlton Harris of Dallas; one brother Dan Coleman of Hiram; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 2:30 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Larry Weaver, family and friends officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville.
