Diane Easterwood

Martha Diane Easterwood, 78, of Villa Rica, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was born on April 23, 1944. She is the daughter of the late Judge Richmond Barge, Sr. and the late Martha Sue Howse Barge.

Diane was a loving mother to her two daughters and a devoted Nana to her grand-daughters. She worked 20 plus years as an accountant at The State of Georgia Institute in Warm Springs. Diane enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains. She enjoyed making jewelry, cooking, baking, but most of all spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by Tim Easterwood of Villa Rica; her daughters, Dani Easterwood of Villa Rica and Heather Fiquette of Villa Rica; granddaughters, Mackenzie Ryan Fiquette and Caroline Reese Fiquette; brothers, Judge R. Barge, Jr. of Douglasville, Georgia and William and Linda Barge of Fayetville, Georgia; nieces, Toni Barge of St. Pete, Florida, Tina Rasberry of Tyrone, Georgia and Kristen and Patrick Hood of Smyrna, Georgia,

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the caregivers and their sincere appreciation to those who helped Diane during her time of sickness.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel.
