Martha Faye Croy

Mrs. Martha Faye Croy, age 83 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019. She was born July 8, 1936 in Douglasville, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. William Delvous Martin, Sr. and the late Mrs. Geneva Sosebee Martin. Mrs. Croy was a homemaker where she loved gardening, flowers, yard work, and quilting. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Croy; son, Timmy Croy; brother, Charles Martin; brother-in-law, Frank Satterfield; sisters, Pauline Thrasher and Alta Mae Martin; sister-in-law, Margaret Martin. Mrs. Croy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Wanda Croy of Carrollton, Georgia; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; sisters, Roberta Satterfield of Douglasville, Georgia, Sybil Bell of Austell, Georgia; sister-in-law, Lanae Boyd of Jackson, Georgia; brother, Junior Martin of Villa Rica; brother-in-law, Clifford Thrasher of Austell, Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Monday December 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
