Martha Langston

Mrs. Martha Adair Langston, 76, of the New Georgia Community, Dallas, Georgia, passed away, Friday, October 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born December 9, 1937, in Atlanta, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Lemons Dorsey Adair and the late Mrs. Eunice Fronella Ellis Adair. She worked for the Cobb County Building Permit office and was a voter registrar for Paulding County and did data processing for Georgia Power. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Alan Langston on April 17, 2014. Survivors include her husband, Pat Hall Langston of the New Georgia Community, Dallas, GA, daughter, Delaine Langston of Highlands, NC, daughter-in-law, Lisa Langston of the New Georgia Community, Dallas, GA, brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby Wayne and Opal Adair of New Georgia, and Harold Ellis Adair of Mableton, 2 grandchildren, Anna Caitlin Griffin of Atlanta, and Benjamin Alan Langston of New Georgia, a number of nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Funeral services will be conducted, Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the New Georgia Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Burdette officiating. Interment will follow in the New Georgia Baptist Church Cemetery.
