Martha LouEllen Fendley

Mrs. Martha LouEllen Fendley, age 75, of Villa Rica passed away Friday, November 5, 2010 at Carrollton Manor. She was born October 25, 1935 the daughter of the late Mr. Sammuel Benjamin Martin and the late Mrs. Martha Ann Boyd Martin. She was a life time member of the Flat Rock Baptist Church, member of the WMU, the Joy Sunshine Sunday school class and worked several years in vacation bible school. She retired from Belk’s in Carrollton as a manager and buyer in the shoe department. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters Annie Lula Martin, Mandy Ovie Perren, Ester Ethel Martin,; brother, William Monroe Martin. She is survived by her loving husband, Willie Robert Fendley, Sr. of Villa Rica; daughters and son-in-law, Sandra Kay and Philip Harrington of Mt. Zion, Melinda Fendley of Tallapoosa; sons and daughters-in-law, Will Robert and Robin Fendley of Villa Rica, Louis Stephen and Melanie Fendley of Villa Rica; brother Robert Samuel Martin of Villa Rica; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from Flat Rock Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Brown, Rev. Ronnie Pucket, and Rev. Bob Gardner officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Cheryl Tyson, Allen Tyson and Harold Meeks. Mrs. Fendley will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Glenn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Monday, November 8, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
