Martha Smith

Mrs. Martha Ann Smith, age 75, of Villa Rica, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018. She was born December 22, 1942 in Temple the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Garvin Gentry and the late Mrs. Clara Nell Yearty Gentry. Mrs. Smith loved gardening, walking her dog, Elvis and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Football fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Jimmy Smith, Clara Ann Smith, and Jamie Smith; brother-in-law, Donald Smith and Jerry Smith; sister-in-law, Gail Gentry.She is survived by her husband, James Smith of Villa Rica; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dean Stone of Carrollton; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy and Doyle Smith of Bremen, Vickie Armstrong of Waco; brothers and sister-in-law, J. T. and Jewell Gentry of Villa Rica, Gary Gentry of Villa Rica; two grandchildren, Bryan Stone and Briana Stone; one great-grandchild, Skylar Stone; several nieces and nephews also survive along with her dog, Layla. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Villa Rica Church of Christ with Pastor Bob Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
