Martha Sue Lott

Mrs. Martha Sue Willis Lott, age 73, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice following an extended illness. She was born April 24, 1939 in Rome, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Clyde T. Willis and the late Mrs. Mozelle Godfrey Willis. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglasville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde A. “Bud” Willis. She is survived by her husband, Francis “Frank” Ronald Lott of Douglasville; daughters and son-in-law, Tina and Wayne Southerland of Douglasville and Robin Barden of Laredo, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Ross and Kathy Lang of Powder Springs; sister, Joanne Yarbrough of Mableton; five grandchildren, Rachel, Austin, Hannah, Kelli and Ashley; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Dr. John Pennington, Mr. Bill Shipp and Mr. Danny West officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The following will serve as pallbearers: Daniel Rogers, Austin Lang, Lanny Yarbrough, Steve Yarbrough, Gerald Wright and Lawrence Wright.
