Martha Wallace

Mrs. Martha Pass Wallace, 89, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was born May 14, 1925 in Rome, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Ed Earnest Pass and the late Mrs. Lillie Williams Pass. She was a homemaker and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family. She loved fishing. She loved children and enjoyed being a caregiver for children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Quillen Wallace; daughter, Emily Charlene Bryant; sisters, Lucy Ellis, Ruby Newborn, and Frances Jeffers; and brothers, Frank Dempsey and Luther Pass. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Leroy Bryant and Brenda and Jaime Pinal all of Lithia Springs; son, Walter Wallace of Lithia Springs; brother and sister-in-law, James Edward “Jimmy” and Patricia Pass of Kansas; sisters-in-law, Ethyl Wallace of Douglasville, Lula Mae Wallace of Brunswick, and “Nokie” Pass of Beaumont, MS; six grandchildren, Jeff Bryant of Shady Dale, April Westbrook of Shady Dale, Leronda Bryant of Rockmart, Edwin and Tonya Bryant of Sharpsburg, Daydra and Bruce Ketchum of Dallas, Donald Jr. and Tammy Adams of Dallas; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Kevin McKoy officiating.
