Mr. Marvin Lance Caine, age 77, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born in Cumming, Georgia on June 12, 1933. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Weaver Caine; sons, Lance (Karen) Caine, Joseph (Jay) Griggs; daughters, Marlynn (Ed) Stillions, Dawn (Joseph) Tuggle; grandchildren, Kayte (Matthew) Mosley, Christopher Stillions, Kayla Caine, Brianna Caine, Ashleigh Tuggle, Nicole Tuggle; brother, Julian (Ethel) Caine; sister, Etheleen Ledford and her wonderful caregiver, Ramonda Brownlow; several nieces and nephews also survive. He was an All-star pitcher for the Cumming and Chestatee Baseball League. He served in the United States Armed Services during the Korean Conflict and was stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas. He was employed with Sears for 30 years. After leaving Sears, he opened Caine Tire Company in Atlanta. He enjoyed golf, traveling and prided himself in being a wonderful gardener. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, Georgia on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica with Mr. Jack Kelly officiating. Musical selections will be provided by Ben Pilgreen.
