Mary Ann "Mae" Bryant Few

Mrs. Mary Ann “Mae” Bryant Few, age 67, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at Wellstar Community Hospice in Austell following an extended illness. She was born April 4, 1942 in Dunklin, South Carolina the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas O. Bryant and the late Mrs. Elsie Pauline Jeffries Bryant. She married Marion “Marty” Few on December 31, 1958. She was a member of New Brooklyn Baptist Church in Temple. Mrs. Few taught school in Houma, LA for 7 years, she also worked for Latham Time Systems, but most importantly she was homemaker, mother, and devoted Pastor’s wife. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Rev. Marion “Marty” Few of Villa Rica; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Troy Massey of Franklin; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Brandi Few of Villa Rica; sisters and brother-in-law, Pat Francum of Clover, SC and Brenda and Robert Bolt of Easley, SC; brother, Thomas H. Bryant, Jr. of Greenville, SC; 4 grandchildren, Alex Baldwin, Caroline Baldwin, Jayanne Few and Jacob Few; step grandson, Ryan and Meridith Massey; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Georgia with Rev. Lamar Rackley, Rev. Frank Thompson and Rev. Tim Wautelet officiating. She will be placed in the church from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at New Brooklyn Cemetery in Temple. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Monday, March 22, 2010 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Few may be made to the Mediterranean Baptist Mission, 47 Issac Path, Villa Rica, Georgia 30180.
