Mary Ann Whitaker

Mrs. Mary A. Whitaker, age 68, of Tree Tops Drive, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 at her residence. She was born December 9, 1940, in Lee County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Dennis and the late Mrs. Laura Hearn. Mrs. Whitaker worked as a data entry clerk for Lockheed. She was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitaker was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Dennis. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Stefanie Whitaker of Douglasville and Michael and Bammie Whitaker of Dallas; her sister, Eulease Parham of McDonough; and four grandchildren, Justin, Brent, Tori and Brooke also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted Monday, 26, 2009 at 1:00 PM from Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
