Mrs. Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Appling, 67, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, June 27, 2016. She was born December 4, 1948 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Albert S. Appling of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Jeff Avellanet of Virginia; sister and brother-in-law, Patti and George Anthenien of California; brother, John Speacht of Purcelleville, VA; aunt, Lois Steffney of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Xander Avellanet and Morgan Avellanet.
