Mary Arnette

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Bonds Arnette, 84, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Monday, May 16, 2016. She was born November 19, 1931 in Jacksonville, Alabama the daughter of the late Mr. Ed Bonds and the late Mrs. Vera May Hardie Bonds. She married Forney McHarlen Arnette on April 9, 1946 in White Plains, Alabama. She worked as a supervisor at Hitco Fiberglass. She was a Christian by faith. She enjoyed word search puzzles, gospel music and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby Cobb and Dolly Arnette; and brother, Mickey Bonds. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Forney McHarlen Arnette of Lithia Springs; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Phil Whiteside of Lithia Springs and Sherry and David Cofield of Panama City Beach, FL; sister, Patricia Adams of Oxford, AL; brother, Ray Bonds of Austell; two grandchildren, Misty Motion and Jason Cofield; one great-grandchild, Ansley Cofield; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
