Mary Arp

Mrs. Mary Sue Jones Arp, age 77 of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019. She was born December 17, 1941 in Polk County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Joseph C. Jones and the late Grace Fields Jones. Mrs. Arp enjoyed listening to gospel and county music, working in the yard, gardening, and loved to watch Charles Stanley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Claude Edward Arp; sister, Violet Hood; son-in-law, James Arnold. Mrs. Arp is survived by daughters and sons-in-laws, Tammy Arnold of Douglasville, Georgia, Kathy and Daniel Harrison of Villa Rica, Georgia, Patricia and Tim Holcombe of Lithia Springs, Georgia; sister, Tina Strokes of Carrollton, Georgia; brothers and sister-in-law, David Striblin of Atlanta, Georgia, Robert and Nancy Jones of Villa Rica, Georgia, Edward Jones of Villa Rica, Georgia; granddaughter, Sarah Harrison, several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jim Grieme officiating.
