Mrs. Mary Pauline Buchanan, age 89, of Temple passed away Monday, April 16, 2012. She was born March 9, 1923 in Paulding County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Dixie Lee Brown and the late Mrs. Dora Jane Johnson Brown. She retired from Paulding County School Systems after twenty years of service. She was a long time faithful member of Concord Baptist Church.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Watson Buchanan on March 19, 2007; brothers, Bill Brown and Charles Brown; sisters, Molly Jean Jones, Nellie Rae Hardin and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Weaver BuchananShe is survived by her son, Thomas Dixon Buchanan of Temple; daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Michael Hannah of Temple; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Renay Brown of Powder Springs; three grandchildren, Brian and Brandy Buchanan of Temple; Laura Beth Hannah of Temple, and John Hannah of Temple; one great-grandchild, Bailey Buchanan of Temple. Several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Don Rackley and Rev. Hoyt Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Those desiring to do so may make contributions to the American Cancer Society1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd, Ste 280, Kennesaw, Georgia 30144.
