Mary Edna Helton Willliams

Mrs. Mary Edna Helton Williams, age 97, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Haralson Nursing and Rehab Center in Bremen, Georgia following an extended illness. Mrs. Williams was born April 13, 1911 in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. John Robert Helton and the late Mrs. Katura Elizabeth Turner Helton. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church in the Hickory Level Community. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, James Clarence Williams, her son, Jimmy Williams; her son-in-law, Don Dobbs, and her sisters, Maida Richardson, Lena Knowles, Ruth Preston, Grace Smith, Della Michaels, Bernie Bilbo and Nellie Jo Kelly. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Dan and Wilma Williams, Jerry and Hilda Boutwell and Melba Dobbs, all of Villa Rica; her daughter-in-law, Carolyn Williams, of Villa Rica; brother, Wilton Helton, of Bremen; her eight grandchildren, Christy Johnson, Tamara Ogletree, Jon Williams, Cindy Bryant, Tim Williams, Sharon Willis, Jason Boutwell and Casey Dobbs; her seven great-grandchildren, Whitney Johnson, Thomas Ogletree, Jamie Bryant, Lindsey Willis, Lesley Willis, Ryan Dobbs and Kaleb Dobbs; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Neal Williams officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Bryant, Tim Williams, Jonathan Williams, Jody Willis, Jason Boutwell, Casey Dobbs, Tony Johnson and Robert Ogletree. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in the Hickory Level Community. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
