Mary Frances Boatwright Spoon

Mrs. Mary Francis Boatwright Spoon, age 77, of Villa Rica passed away Friday, January 28, 2011. She was born September 21, 1933 in Carrollton, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Herman Wiley Boatwright and the late Mrs. Willie Mae Blanks Boatwright. She worked for Royal Creations where she assembled furniture for many years. She attended Youngs Grove Baptist Church in Cedartown. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Oscar Spoon and daughter, Lorriane Spoon. She is survived by her daughters, Lorena Hamilton of Carrollton, Loretta Treptor of Texas; sons, Donnie Spoon of Villa Rica, Lonnie Spoon of Villa Rica, Johnny Spoon of Villa Rica, Sonnie Spoon of Villa Rica; sisters, Wyolene Hilliard of Cedartown, Lenora Reyes of Cedartown; brother, James Henry Boatwright of Florida; thirteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM from Youngs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Cedartown with Rev. Curtis Albritton officiating. Interment will follow at Youngs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
