Mrs. Mary Frances Hay Jordan, 87, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, September 12, 2005 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. She was born June 4, 1918 in Hiram, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Stephen Linton Hay and the late Mrs. Nora Mae Lackey Hay. She was retired from Cluett and Peabody Company where she worked as an inspector. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Douglasville. Mrs. Jordan enjoyed painting outdoor sceneries, traveling and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jordan is preceded in death by first husband, Jack Jordan; second husband, Paul H. Jordan; one son, Larry Christopher Jordan; one brother, Paul Hay; and four sisters, Eva Hay, Nellie Hay, Myrtle Jordan, and Ruth Hay. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce Ellen and Joe Jordan of Douglasville; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel with Dr. John Pennington and Rev. Bryan Eddenfield officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The following will serve as pallbearers; Christopher Jordan, David Jordan, Blake Easterwood, Brad Easterwood, Matt Jordan, Andrew Jordan, Todd Locke, Tanner Locke, Kyle Eddenfield and Kamron Eddenfield. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 14, 2005 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel.
